Knit or Crochet for Charity
We now have a Warm Up America bin in the library. You can help make a difference in our community by knitting or crocheting 7 by 9 inch rectangle sections. Then, drop your finished rectangles into the bin. Warm Up America Volunteers will sew them into full afghans and distribute them to area shelters, nursing homes, children’s hospitals, or to others in need. Warm Up America is a nationwide organization locally hosted by the Redford Suburban League. Want to know more? Please visit www.warmupamerica.org, or call Reva at (313) 537-0235.

Redford Recreational Readers
If you're a reader who would like an opportunity to discuss books with others, join the Redford Recreational Readers, our book discussion group for adults. We will be meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 pm, in one of the 2nd floor meeting rooms. Each month you'll have an opportunity to meet fellow book lovers, share in group discussion of a selected book and suggest titles for future discussions.
Registration is not required, but the library has limited copies of each book. If you sign up in advance at the Adult Reference Desk, we'll make every effort to obtain a copy for you from another library.
