Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction is the UK’s most prestigious annual book award for fiction written by a woman (formerly called the Orange Prize).  

Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers Award Roughly sixty books are handpicked for the program each year from the thousand-plus submissions from publishers of all sizes, and from those, an independent panel of distinguished writers chooses the winner of our annual Discover Awards.

Lambda Literary Awards, also known as The Lammys, celebrate the best in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender books each year. 

Man Booker Prize aims to promote the finest in fiction by rewarding the best novel of the year written in English and published in the United Kingdom.

The Man Booker International Prize biennially rewards an author for a body of work originally written in any language as long as it was widely available in English.

Michigan Notable Books  The Library of Michigan yearly selects up to twenty of the most notable books, either written by a Michigan resident or about Michigan or the Great Lakes. 

National Book Award is an American literary prize administered by the National Book Foundation, a nonprofit organization. 

National Book Critics Circle Awards are given each March and honor the best literature published in the United States in six categories—autobiography, biography, criticism, fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. These are the only national literary awards chosen by critics themselves.
