Bookmark Contest

National Library Week, April 9-15

To celebrate this special week of fun, the library is sponsoring a bookmark contest.  The theme coincides with the special summer activities planned at the library, “Build a Better World.”  Use your imagination and create a bookmark around this theme.  What do you think would make the world a better place for everyone?   More stories?  More care for Mother Earth?  More kindness?  More singing and dancing?

Everyone age 3-11 is invited to enter the contest.  You can pick up a blank form at the library or print one yourself.  The winners will receive a prize chosen especially for them.

We will have three separate categories, ages 3-5, 6-8 and 9-11.  The winning entries will also be reproduced and handed out at the library during the summer.

Be sure to make your drawings and words clear so they can be reprinted.

Please put your name, age and phone number on the back of the entry or they will have to be disqualified.
