The Library has a team of dedicated, friendly volunteers who assist staff with special, unusual, or supplemental tasks that further the Library’s mission. Potential volunteer projects include:
- DVD resurfacing
- Covering paperbacks
- Reshelving magazines
- Ellison machine cutting
- Locating requested materials
- Shifting books
- Shelfreading or Shelving materials
- Graphic design work
- Labeling books
- Clerical work
Please note: Library Volunteers must have a library card in good standing and be at least 13 years of age. A parent or guardian’s written permission to serve is required for all volunteers under 18. All potential volunteers should review the full Library Volunteer Policy.

Would you like to share your love of reading with a child? The library is looking to launch a pilot program this summer that will pair volunteer coaches with students to help improve literacy skills.
